Strike 500 Rotary Evaporator

Strike 5000 is a large capacity rotary evaporator designed to solve any problem concerning production applications. The unit is suitable for fast and gentle solvents installations under vacuum or atmosphere conditions.

The rotation of the 50 Lt. evaporation flask (or 100 Lt. capacity as optional) in the thermostatic bath results in a forced convection and homogenous distribution of the product‚ thus preventing sedimentation.
Moreover‚ it increases the actual evaporating exchange surface.

All Strike 5000 Rotary Evaporator parts in contact with process vapour are manufactured in borosilicate glass (ISO 3585) and PTFE‚ thus providing maximum resistance to aggressive solvents.
The sealing system guarantees the perfect vacuum tightness and maintenance-free operation.
Tubing can be fitted or removed with no risk of glass breaking

TOTAL SAFETY SYSTEM

Strike 5000 Rotary Evaporator_ is a safety rotary evaporator able to safeguard the user from any risk during work.
All glass parts are protected by a compact shielding structure.
The thermostatic bath is covered by a transparent shield providing the operator with utmost protection from glass breaking and spray. The thermostatic bath and the protective shield are lifted by means of a hydraulic system.
An automatic system lowers the thermostatic bath when a power failure occurs‚ thus preventing any overheating: the thermostatic bath has an intrinsic overtemperature protection device.
At power on‚ an auto-test procedure is carried out in order to check the system status (e.g. protective shield lifted or solenoid valves malfunctions). If the auto-test fails‚ any subsequent operation is inhibited and a warning signal appears.


VACUUM SEALING SYSTEM

A great feature of Strike 5000 Rotary Evaporator is its PTFE/carbographite sealing system which allows a perfect vacuum-tight anti-corrosion seal without gaskets or other materials that can be damaged by solvent contact. This sealing system is standard in all Strike 5000 Rotary Evaporator models and does not require any maintenance!

HEATING BATH

The heating bath is lifted by means of a hydraulic system which‚ in case of power failure or doors opening‚ goes automatically down to avoid fluid overheating and the process will immediately stop.
Temperature range: ambient to 180°C
Bath filling: water or diathermic oil

ELETTRONIC CONTROLLER

Strike 5000 Rotary Evaporator is totally controlled by a PLC (Programmable Logic Controller).

Vapour temperature

Rotation speed

Actual and set vacuum values

RS232 port supplied as standard

ATEX CERTIFICATION

Strike 5000 ATEX version is supplied according to the ATEX European Regulation (Directive 94/9/CE; EN 1127-1:1997; EN 13463-1:2001; prEN 13463-5:2003; prEN13463-6:2002)‚ that regulates manufacturing materials explosion-proof.
