Dissolution - USP Dissolution

The System 3000S is a closed loop automated on-line UV analysis system. The DISSO lll dissolution
tester performance exceeds the requirements of USP‚ BP‚ EP and JP‚ and has numerous intelligent
and space-saving features. The 8-vessel design allows the use of two additional vessels for blank
and standard. At every sampling time interval‚ the SP-100 Peri-pump takes samples from each
vessel and then transfers them into the Shimadzu UV 1700 for analysis. The user-friendly ADUV
program completely controls and monitors all components‚ and displays the results in real time.
In use‚ samples are loaded and the ADUV program prompts the user to start the test‚ and the
samples drop simultaneously. The ADUV software then takes control of the system for the entire
test run.


The data‚ including absorbency and percent dissolved are displayed at every sampling interval. At
test completion the shaft assembly automatically lifts and the completed dissolution results are
presented.
