MicrovapThe instrument consists of a rectangular gas distribution systemmounted on a frame and stand assembly. The gas at 10 to 15 psig passesthrough an adjustable flow meter to the distribution manifold. Each rowof 7 or 10 is controlled by a valve. Needles or glass pipets blow gasonto the surface of the solution resulting in rapid evaporation of thesolvent. All materials used are laboratory quality and can withstandcontact with organic solvents. Acid resistant models are. available forcorrosive solutions. MICROVAP Features: Single position or 3 plate system Compact size lakes minimal hood space. Uses Nitrogen or air as the evaporative agent. Heating block provides gentle heat. Band spring hoist assembly for effortless raising or lowering of the manifold. A gas flow meter with valve controls and indicates gas consumption. A needle valve adjusts gas flow at each row of 7 or 10. Stainless steel 4-inch x 19-gauge needles standard. All metal parts are made of stainless steel� chromed brass or anodized aluminum. |
