Automated Type I and II Dissolution with In Line HPLC
Logan Instruments are fully redesigned dissolution tester UDT-804 and Agilent's best selling HPLC System 1100 combine to form a unique system capable of providing automated dissolution with direct on-line HPLC analysis. Utilizing the new Logan Dissolution Sample Transfer Device‚ Agilent's auto sampler is now able to directly collect samples from the dissolution tester for direct injection‚ thus automating dissolution with on-line HPLC analysis. Advantages of this new joint venture include the ability of current Agilent users to automate their dissolution simply and economically. Additionally‚ system training and validation are minimized as the Agilent Chem Station software remains in control of the HPLC analysis. The 1100 remains available for other assays when required. In use‚ samples are loaded onto the auto-dropping tray of the UDT-804. The ADLC-Agilent program prompts the user to start the test‚ and the samples drop simultaneously. The ADLC-Agilent software then takes control of the system for the entire test run to the point of loading samples into the Dissolution Sample Transfer Device. At this point‚ Agilent's Chem Station software takes over and completes HPLC analysis of the performance.
