Automated Type III Dissolution with Syringe Pump sampling

Automated Type III Dissolution with Syringe Pump sampling

The System 3400V is an automated USP III dissolution sample collection system allowing for
subsequent analysis by UV or HPLC methods. The ADSC software can be used to control up to
(4) dissolution sampling systems using the parameters sample size‚ waste volume and media
replacement volume.

The SP-100 Peristaltic Pump is designed to withdraw samples with consistent accuracy and provides
high pressure to withdraw the samples through dissolution filters. The 3400V Automated Dissolution
Peri-Pump Sampling System assures collection and optional replacement of media with high volume
accuracy at each time interval. The system also can be programmed to clean itself before and after
a test.

In operation‚ the solid dosage samples are placed in the inner tubes. After attaching the lower
caps onto the inner tubes the assembly automatically aligns. The ADSC software then takes control
of the system for the entire test run. At test completion samples are ready to be transferred for
analysis by UV or HPLC.
