Automated Vessel Cleaning

Automated Vessel Cleaning

Automated Vessel Cleaning

Features:

The brushing device is mounted on the washing head allowing the brush to rotate while water spray from the nozzles.

The majority of the cleaning is done by the rotation of the brush‚ thewater spray on the brush to insure it is clean and then while thespraying water removes the dislodged particles from the vessel wall andpushes them to the bottom of the vessel.

The vacuum tube mounted in the middle of the washing head reaches thecenter of the vessel bottom and removes the rinse water. The vacuumtube removes the rinsing water while the water is spraying and brushesare rotating‚ and this combined motion ensures the thorough cleaning ofthe vessels.

The tip of the vacuum tube moves with the liquid level‚ this is toinsure a clean vacuum. The vacuum tip is designed with a shut valve toprevent the water back flush to the vessel; only limited water is leftaccumulated on the bottom.

The vacuum head cover seals the vessel during the wash‚ this is insureno water escape. After all the liquid in the vessel being removed‚ theair guide on the vacuum head cover guides the airflow thru the vesselwall that vacuums all the liquid on the vessel wall.

Validation:

Set the temperature to 45 ºC

Set wash time to 20 seconds using the built-in timer.

Wash the vessel by this system with above method.

Add clean media into the vessel and stir with a clean bar.

Remove a sample (media) from this vessel and analyze by HPLC.

If the HPLC analysis indicates there is no residue‚ this cleaningmethod is validated. Users are able to reduce the washing time orincrease the washing time to validate the cleaning method for differentdrugs / tablet samples‚ as required.

Description:

The AVC-100BHT is an Automated Vessel Cleaner that is equipped withheater / timer and a brush mounted on the vacuum head. This machine isdesigned to facilitate the timely process of washing dissolutionvessels and validation further eliminates vessel breakage.

Mobility is an advantage of the AVC-100BHT. The easy gliding wheels ofthis unit move it between stations and the extended wash head tubingallows dissolution vessels to be washed without removing them from thetest equipment. The brush and fixed media output nozzles on the washhead will ensure a through cleaning of the dissolution vessels.

The AVC-100HT is also equipped with a timer. This timer is used inconjunction with the auto function. In the automated mode the wash timeis selected by programming the timer display on front panel.

The heater is used to heat the cleaning media and may be used in either the manual or automated mode.
