Release Rate tester
Release Rate Tester The LOGAN RRT-7 Release Rate Tester is the newest USP 7 apparatus fordissolution testing required by the USP. This 24 test tubes tester isdesigned for easy and continuous operation. The RRT-7 features heatedcarrousels instead of a traditional water bath‚ as well as a rotationalcarrousel system to replace a traditional row-to-row device. The design of the RRT-7 features a system of two carrousels‚ eachcarrousel contained 24 tubes. The carrousel allows 12 test tubes fortesting and 12 test tubes that prepare for the next test when thecarrousel rotates. This layout allows a total of 24 tubes to be testedat the same time. Samples can be drawn from the test tubes during thetest or after the test is complete. In addition‚ the shafts for eachtype of sample-holder are identical so that all sample-holders areinterchangeable. The interchangeable sample holders make simple tochange the test methods. The RRT-7 features a touch-screen display‚ a colorful and user-friendlyinterface‚ which makes the programming very easy. The motion control istotally digitalized; this makes the system very accurate in terms ofdip speed control and timing. This unit can be networked and controlledor monitored remotely. To prevent temperature hazards‚ the carrousels include an automaticsafety shut-off switch‚ which turns off the heating system as soon asthe temperature rises above the safety limit. Several options are available for the Logan RRT-7‚ including theautomated tube-cleaning/filling system ‚ and an automated sampler tocollect samples or further transfer to the HPLC as online analysissystem . A media reservoir tank that allows the system to run non-stopis also available. Performance of the Logan RRT-7 Release Rate Tester exceeds therequirements of USP‚ please contact Logan instruments for moreinformation. Feature: • 24 samples test simultaneously • Dry heat temperature control system‚ no water bath • Unique NO-EVAPO covers seal all outer tubes limiting media evaporation • Carousal design automatically transports each sample from one media to the next • Non stop running • Programmable dip speed / dip time / hold time/ drain time. • Touch screen LED display for easy operation • Stand alone Micro-processor controlled system or link up for PC control • Consists of 24 test tube in each carousal‚ 12 tubes for test & 12 tubes for preparation • Heavy duty construction to insure steady movement and position accuracy. SPECIFICATIONS Dip-test Position: 12 for each carrousel Prep-test Position: 12 for each carrousel Speed Control: 0-50 RPM‚ accuracy +/- 0.1 RPM Temp.
