Overview:
Laboratory health and safety regulations place a strong emphasis on theexposure of lab personnel to harmful solvent vapours. The Solvent Safewaste disposal system is a simple yet innovate product thatspecifically addresses the problem of waste solvents.

The Solvent Safe consists of a substantial 7.5 litre ultra-highmolecular weight (UHMW) polyethylene waste container to which you canconnect up to 9 different waste lines at a time.

What"s more‚ there are no fragile glass components‚ so there"s no riskof any breakage. You can even keep the Solvent Safe on the floor!

Solvent Vapour Filtration:
The Solvent Safe features an organic vapour filter to ensure no solventvapours can escape into the atmosphere. The integrated colour indicatorchanges from light pink to dark magenta when the filter needs replacing.

Quick and easy to use:
The 9-port manifold‚ that connects the waste lines to the Solvent Safe‚and the solvent vapour filter are connected to the waste container by adrip-free quick-connect coupling.

Two systems available:
There are two Solvent Safe systems‚ SLVSAF-01 and SLVSAF-02. SLVSAF-01uses polypropylene/EPDM connectors whilst SLVSAF-02 features stainlesssteel/PTFE connectors.

Although polypropylene and EPDM have good solvent compatibility‚ thestainless steel and PTFE connectors used in SLVSAF-02 are recommendedwhen using highly corrosive solvents.
